Janine (Jan) Watson, 66, of Homosassa, Florida entered into rest on August 9, 2017.

Jan was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 4, 1951 the daughter of the late Robert Huot and Josephine Sarat. After 3 years in the Chicago area her family moved to the Detroit area where she spent the next 44 years working as an Executive Secretary and Office Manager in the automotive industry before meeting her husband, James Watson, and spent the next 17 years in Naperville, Illinois as a Sr. Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for Candle Corporation and...

Janine (Jan) Watson, 66, of Homosassa, Florida entered into rest on August 9, 2017.

Jan was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 4, 1951 the daughter of the late Robert Huot and Josephine Sarat. After 3 years in the Chicago area her family moved to the Detroit area where she spent the next 44 years working as an Executive Secretary and Office Manager in the automotive industry before meeting her husband, James Watson, and spent the next 17 years in Naperville, Illinois as a Sr. Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for Candle Corporation and IBM Corporation before they moved to Homosassa in 2015 for retirement.

She loved to travel, volunteered at hospitals in Detroit and Naperville, member of the Oxford Women's Club and was a long-time Election Judge in Michigan and Illinois and continued that passion as a Poll Worker in Florida.

She is survived by her husband, James Watson, two sons Bryan Craves and his wife Amanda of Minneapolis, Minnesota and their two children, Avery and Annabelle, Matthew Craves currently in Columbus, Ohio, three stepsons; Jimmy Watson of Pensacola, Florida, Joshua Watson and his wife Christina and their two sons, Jack and Tyler of Wheaton, Illinois and Jeffrey Watson of Naperville, Illinois.

A private funeral will be held at the Heeney - Sundquist Funeral Home 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington, MI 48336 on Thursday August 17, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Interment will be follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI at 12:30 PM
